Indications — Gastroscopy
- • Reflux refractory to medical therapy
- • Dysphagia or odynophagia
- • Persistent upper abdominal pain
- • Unexplained nausea or vomiting
- • Haematemesis
- • Iron deficiency anaemia
- • Suspected ulcer or H. pylori
- • Unexplained weight loss
Indications — Colonoscopy
- • Rectal bleeding
- • Change in bowel habit
- • Chronic diarrhoea or constipation
- • Iron deficiency anaemia
- • Polyp surveillance
- • Family history of CRC
- • Positive faecal occult / FIT
- • Bowel cancer screening
Red flag symptoms
